Frank teaches woodworking throughout the US - for clubs, woodworker
guilds, colleges and woodworker schools.
A typical weekend seminar:
Friday night - Wood Technology, slide presentation and
discussion about any woodworking questions.
Saturday - All day joinery - Hand-cut dovetails, mortise-and-tenon,
sliding dovetail, etc.
Sunday - Wood finishing - How to apply various wood finishes;
shellac, oil, french polishing, etc.
A very popular hands-on weekend seminar is "Building a Dovetail
Jewelry Box with Frank Klausz". Each student will build
a mahogany jewelry box under Frank's tutalage, practicing all
the hand tool skills required to complete the
project. First Frank will guide you through dovetailing practice
before you tackle the real thing on your box.
